Changes at the AJT

Effective immediately, Andrew Adler has resigned from his role as publisher and will relinquish all day-to-day activities at The Atlanta Jewish Times. An established Jewish Atlanta leader is sought as the new face of the community newspaper.

Adler apologized for his Jan. 13 column, “What would you do?”, via various media outlets and his final column, “Ashamed and regretful: An apology,” as well as reader feedback, will be the focus of the AJT‘s upcoming Jan. 27 edition.

Longtime staff writer John McCurdy has been named interim editor-in-chief for the duration that a new publisher is sought. The staff of The Atlanta Jewish Times looks forward to serving Atlanta’s Jewish community more faithfully than ever in the future.
